Ingredients

all ingredients for salmon bites for air fryer arranged on a table.
  • Salmon Fillet – Fresh salmon is best, it’s leaner, dense in omega-3 fatty acids and gives a tender, flaky texture. I used skinless salmon fillet and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Use any salmon that you like – Atlantic, Norwegian, King, Sockeye.
  • Oil – use olive oil or avocado oil. Oil helps the seasoning stick to the salmon cubes.
  • Spices – Onion powder, garlic powder, chilli powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar and salt-pepper.
  • Corn flour – for binding the spices.

Additions & Substitutions

  • Adjust the amount of spices or swap to the seasoning of your liking. You can use lemon-pepper seasoning, or the Asian way – sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger and garlic. Cajun seasoning for smoky, spicy, bold flavour.

  • Swap protein. If you don’t have salmon, swap it with cod, shrimp, or boneless chicken cubes.
