A bit about me….

I live in Bangalore, India with my beautiful family husband Rajesh, and 2 beautiful children daughter Diya and son Ashmith.

Close friends call me Jo and I graduated to become a software engineer. In my previous life, I worked as a software engineer in an IT company. Food was always my passion and I wanted to pursue a career where my passion lies.

I started pursuing my passion in 2014 by sharing things I cooked in my kitchen with a small group of friends. Today CurryTrail is not only my little corner where I share my passion but it has also bloomed into my business which helps me share my favorite recipes with people from all over the world.

My recipes on my website draw on influences from my travel, trying new restaurants, and stumbling on unique and exciting recipes on the internet. I’m a huge fan of BIG FLAVORS, you’ll find flavor-packed, easy-to-cook-at-home, internationally-inspired recipes on my blog. If you cook my recipes you’ll be fascinated by how simple everyday ingredients can transform into something that tastes so amazing.

I want to show you that cooking simple, flavor-packed, delicious comfort food spanning from all across the world isn’t too difficult. Most of the recipes are made with everyday ingredients with a wow factor.

My work

I’ve been featured multiple times in some of the leading Newspapers in India called Deccan Herald and Bangalore Mirror.

Welcome, I'm Jyothi

My food philosophy is simple, fresh and full of flavors! I love ‘spicy’ food. In fact so much so that I can skip dessert for extra spicy savory food!
