What You’ll Need?

This is what you’ll need-

  • 1 Cup whole milk
  • 4 -6 Tablespoon Nutella (adjust amount according to taste preference)
  • 4 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream

Optional-

  • Whipped Cream for topping
  • Sprinkles for fun

Milk – definitely use full cream milk or whole milk. It creates richer, creamier milkshake. For vegan option – use cashew or almond milk.

Nutella – store bought or homemade can be used. We have easy homemade Nutella recipe that you should check. It’s so easy to make, you’ll be amazed how good it is and won’t go back to store bought ever.

Vanilla Ice Cream – I used 4 mini scoops. Feel free to increase the amount if you are in serious mood to indulge.

Whipped Cream – in my family whipped cream is mandatory on any milkshake. My kids demand for it. What’s milkshake without a good dollop of whipped cream right?

Sprinkles – life is so much fun with sprinkles.

How To Make Nutella Milkshake Recipe?

Making milkshake doesn’t get easier than this.

Nutella milkshake needs 3 ingredients and is ready in 4 simple steps.

  • Step 1: Add whole chilled milk, Nutella and vanilla ice cream into a blender.
  • Step 2: Blend for 3 to 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Step 3: Pour into serving glass, top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
  • Step 4: Enjoy!

How To Make Diary-Free Nutella Milkshake?

You can easily make this milkshake diary-free or vegan with a few substitutions.

Substitute milk with diary free almond milk

Use ripe banana instead of ice cream or use vegan ice cream in place of regular diary vanilla ice cream.

Blend ingredients and enjoy.

Variations Of Nutella Milkshake

You can add other ingredients like fruits, coffee, nuts and dry fruits to make different variations of Nutella milkshake.

Fruits:

Consider adding ripe banana or fresh strawberries to make fruity milkshake. Note: adding banana or strawberry will make milkshake thick almost like smoothie.

Coffee:

  • Always use chilled milk for milkshake.  Milkshake like any other milkshake tastes better chilled. If you use regular room temperature milk, make sure to chill the milkshake for 1 to 2 hours after it’s made and then enjoy.
  • Highly recommended to use whole milk or full fat milk. It creates richer, creamier milkshake.
  • Feel free to add fruits like ripe banana, strawberries or even coffee to the milkshake. Adding fruit will change texture of the milkshake. It will be thicker than usual, almost like a smoothie.
  • This recipe calls for 4 tablespoons of Nutella for 2 servings of milkshake. You can adjust the amount of Nutella depending on how rich and sweet you like your milkshake.
