Apples– use a mix of Granny Smith’s and Honey crisp apples. Pick apples that are naturally sweet so no added sugar is needed. I like a mix of any of these – Granny Smith’s apples, Gala, Honey crisp, Fuji, Golden delicious, Ambrosia apples.
Cinnamon powder– to enhance the flavor and taste.
Fresh lemon juice– use freshly squeezed lemon juice. Lemon juice will keep apples from discolouring. Avoid bottled lemon juice.
