- ½ cup white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

Don’t have white wine vinegar in hand? Just substitute it with good quality distilled vinegar or apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar.

- Peel, cut onions into even thin slices.
- Place sliced onions in a clean dry glass jar.
