Ingredients For Monster Eye Halloween Rice Krispie Treats

For homemade Rice Krispie bars you’ll need – 

  • Rice Krispie cereals 
  • Marshmallow melts
  • Butter

For decorating monster eye treats, you’ll need – 

  • Colorful candy melts ( use colors fit for the festive theme — orange, purple, lime green, black or use pastel colors like blue, turquoise, yellow)
  • Eye candy ( both big and medium size candies)

How To Make Monster Eye Halloween Rice Krispie Treats

Use store bought Rice Krispie bars or make your own bars at home by using Rice Krispie cereals and marshmallows. 

Making your own Rice Krispie bars at home takes just few minutes. Just melt butter and add in marshmallows on low heat until it melts. Add Rice Krispie cereal stir to combine. Grease baking tray with cooking Spread the mix on a tray and allow it to cool. Then cut into rectangle or squares.

All you do next is decorate it with fun and festive colors to make creepy but kind of adorable treats! The decorations process is really fast and kids were super happy to help decorate!

Melt each candy melts in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil separately in different bowls in microwave for 30 seconds intervals whisking regularly to make smooth liquid consistency.

For Rice Krispie Treats-

  • 3 cups Rice Krispie cereals
  • 2 cups marshmallows
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For Monster Eye Decoration-

  • 40 each colored Candy melts orange, blue, purple, yellow or any of your favorite color
  • Eye candy large, medium abs small candies
