This insanely delicious, quick whipped ricotta cheese dip is creamy and dreamy like a fluffy cloud. This sweet and mildly spicy no-cook appetizer is a perfect solution for a great snack or an impressive appetizer for your guests. Tangy ricotta cheese is paired with sweet and mildly spicy hot honey, lemon zest, and juice, making it a flavorful appetizer. Serve as a dip, or spread it over crostini.
Blend until ricotta is creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
If the dip is too thick, adjust the consistency by adding a splash of heavy cream while blending to get a smooth dip.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with a generous drizzle of hot honey/honey, a dash of olive oil, lemon zest, and fresh thyme leaves.
Serve with crostini.

Notes
If there is any liquid in ricotta, make sure to drain it all before adding it to the food processor. The extra liquid will make it runny.
Use good-quality whole milk ricotta for the best taste.
We love it with hot honey, but plain hot works.
If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a hand blender or a stand mixer to make this dip.
For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream while whipping.
