These baked Parmesan crisps are the easiest low-carb snack you’ll ever make. All you need is one main ingredient (pepper is optional), 5 minutes prep, and 5 minutes in the oven. Add it to Caesar salad as croutons, soups, or as a party appetizer to your cheese board.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
Using a small grater hole, grate the cheese block.
Spread a heaped spoon of grated cheese onto to baking tray. Spread into a thin layer.
Crack a little pepper on each one.
Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees F for about 5 to 7 minutes, until it begins to turn brown on the edges.
Watch closely, as they can burn fast if left even for a few extra seconds in the oven.
Remove the baking tray from the oven. Let it sit in the pan for a minute. Carefully remove the crisps using a thin spatula.
These are best served hot, and fresh out of the oven. They will be crispier. Serve with any sauce of your choice as an appetizer or add it to your salads or soups.

Notes
Always use the best quality Parmesan cheese blocks. Pre-grated cheese may have fillers and additives which are not great for making crisps.
Use the small grater hole on the grater when you grate Parmesan cheese. Fine grated cheese works best when melted giving a beautiful lattice pattern when cheese melts.
Line the baking tray with a silicon mat or parchment paper to prevent crisps from sticking. No need to spray parchment paper with oil, as cheese once melts will be greasy enough.
Spread grated cheese into a thin layer so it crisps up well.
If adding other seasoning like spice powder mix it with grated cheese before spreading it on the tray.
Keep the size of the crisps small and don’t layer the cheese too thick. It won’t turn crispy.
