📋Best All Purpose Seasoning Salt

Seasoning salt is one of the must-haves in your kitchen. Sprinkle it on any dish to elevate its flavor and taste. Sprinkle over meat; use it over vegetables, in your salads, for grill, all the dishes. Use this seasoning instead of plain salt.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons kosher salt coarse
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic granules
  • ½ teaspoon onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne or red chili powder or red chili flakes

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix.
  • Use as needed. Sprinkle on any dish before or after cooking.
  • Store in dry air-tight jars in a cool, dry, dark place. It'll keep for 2-3 year.

Notes

    • Use kosher salt for best results. If you prefer to use sea salt, make sure to grind sea salt in a mortar pestle lightly.
    • To ensure you grind pepper fine, use a mortar and pestle.
    • Choose granular garlic and onion powder instead of superfine powders.
    • Feel free to add other spices and seasonings as per your liking. Some of the other spices you can use are ground turmeric, ground mustard, celery seeds (coarsely ground), ground cumin, ground coriander, a little sugar, or chili powder.
    • Consider adding dried herbs to the salt and use it depending on what you are cooking. Dried oregano, Dried thyme, Dried rosemary, Or Dried Italian herbs can be added to the salt.
