Ingredients
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 pineapple peeled and sliced into 1/2 inch by 2 inch pieces
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
For the marinade
  • 1.5 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoon of cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Juice of 1 lime
For garnish
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Lemon wedges
Instructions
  1. Marinate the shrimp in the marinade for 15 to 20 minutes. Peel and cut pineapple into cubes.
  2. Soak skewer sticks in water for about 30 minutes to avoid burning. While the shrimp is marinating fire up your grill.
  3. Thread in pineapple cubes, marinated shrimps alternatively. Grill the shrimp over direct, medium heat for 5-7 minutes, turning the shrimp halfway through the process.
  4. And don’t forget to slather some more of the deliciousness of Hawaiian teriyaki sauce over the shrimps and pineapple soon as they come out of the grill.
  5. Serve immediately. Love eating it directly as finger food, but it also great on tacos, sandwiches, meal prep box alongside rice, in salads almost in everything.
