CHEESE BALLS

Ingredients: 12 ounces cream cheese ½ cup sour cream 1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder Salt to taste ½ teaspoon pepper ⅓ cup green onion Coating ¾ cup real bacon bits ¾ cup pecans, chopped 1 ½ tablespoons parsley 2 tablespoons green onion Pretzel sticks

Step 1:  In a bowl add  softened cream cheese, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

Step 2: Whisk until combined

Step 3:  Add green onion.

Step 4: Using in silicone spatula, fold gently.

Step 5: Cover the mix and refrigerate it for at least 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 6: In a small bowl add real bacon bits, chopped pecans, finely chopped parsley, and green onion.

Step 7: Mix to combine.

Step 8: Once the cheese mixture is cooled enough to handle (doesn't stick to the hand too much), using a scoop divide into portions.

Step 9: Gently roll with hands to shape.

Step 10:  Roll shaped balls in the bacon-nuts mixture to coat evenly.

Step 11:  Insert pretzel stick.

Step 12: Serve as an appetizer as a dip for crackers, crostini, crudité, bagel chips, pita chips.
