While searching for mango recipes I came across the word “mastani, mango mastani”. The name was so catchy that I looked into the recipe and I was at first surprised to know that it’s a simple mango milkshake topped with traditionally mango ice cream or some times vanilla ice cream.  A recipe as simple as this is sure not to be missed. Make these unique and most delicious milk shakes before the mangoes are on their way out till next year!

Here’s mango mastani recipe-

Ingredients:-

Fresh Mango pulp – 3 mangoes (use Alphonso for best results)
Fresh Cream(thick part only) – 2 tbspns
Full cream milk – ¼ cup
Sugar – 1 tbspn(optional, add only if needed, some mangoes will have enough sweetness so avoid sugar in that case)
Vanilla ice cream or mango ice cream – 1 or 2 scoops for each serving

For garnish-

Chopped pistachios
Saffron – few strands
Glazed or fresh cherries
Mint leaves a few
Few cut mango pieces

Instructions:-

1. Remove the fresh of the mangoes. Add mango fresh, sugar, cream, milk and pulse until they form a smooth milkshake.
